Sligh Burl Wood Desk

This midcentury burl wood desk by Sligh furniture company featured exquisite burl wood veneer wrapping front to back and solid brass “T” pull hardware. The top was in poor condition and needed to be stripped and refinished. The entire piece was stained with a custom water-based toner and sealed with a durable water-based top coat in satin. Some frame detail was painted using a low VOC furniture paint.
